DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project is located at Duval County, Florida. Work associated with the subject requirement consists of maintenance dredging of portions of the Jacksonville Harbor channel between Bar Cut-3 and Upper Terminal Channel including portions of Cut-F and Cut-G. The project, which is comprised of a base and four options, consists of dredging approximately 1,700,000 cubic yards of material from the channel of the Jacksonville Harbor and disposing of the material at Buck Island Cell A and Bartram Island Cell A.. Work also includes turbidity monitoring, endangered species observers (hopper dredges only), sea turtle trawl-sweeping (hopper dredges only), marine animal observer (mechanical dredges only), bird monitoring, and disposal area pumpout. NOTE: Bidders shall be prepared to meet minimum equipment standards identified in SECTION 35 20 23 DREDGING par. 3.13 GENERAL DREDGING SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. The NAICS Code associated with this requirement is 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $30.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and $35,000,000.00. The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 255 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
