The government is seeking market research through a Sources Sought Notice to identify parties interested in designing, building, testing, and delivering a new Jones Act-compliant, split-hull, trailing suction shallow draft hopper dredge to replace the Dredge CURRITUCK. The vessel must meet specific operational and regulatory requirements, including ABS classification, USCG certification, a hopper capacity of 518 cubic yards, a 20-foot dredging depth, and self-propelled azimuthing thrusters. Construction must commence within 12–16 weeks after contract award, with vessel completion required within a 16-month period. A one-year warranty following final acceptance and delivery is also required. This notice is for information only, and the government will not compensate respondents for providing information.
