The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Tulsa District has been tasked to solicit for and award a contract for the Sardis Emergency Gate and Wet Well Repair. The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed price, in accordance with FAR 15, Negotiated Procurement using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable selection process. The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of performing the following: The scope includes work to be performed on the existing bridge crane, wet well gates and accessories, low flow gate and accessories, service gate stems and accessories, emergency gate stems and accessories, electrical gate operators, and related items at Sardis Lake. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 Estimated duration of the project is 200 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The size standard is $39.5M. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, that they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with their own employees for general construction-type procurement.
