Federal Business Opportunities Information Date: 2019 July 15 SOLICITATION NO. W9128F19B0036 On or about 29 July 2019, this office will issue Invitations for Bid for construction of the Missouri River Recovery Fish and Wildlife Mitigation 2019 O&M Projects. The solicitation will close on or about 29 August 2019. This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. A site visit date and time will be issued with the advertisement package. DO NOT submit requests for plans and specifications to the site visit personnel listed above. See ‘Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. _______________________________________________________________________________ Project Description: (Approx. quantities) This project includes repairs to numerous river structures, including dikes and revetments that are part of the Bank Stabilization and Navigation Project (BSNP) on the Missouri River. The project requires procurement, transportation, and placement of stone rip-rap. Execution requires stone placement at locations that are initially submerged to lines and grades as indicated on the plans. Land access is not available for the work, and the sites are only accessible from the Missouri River. The project locations extends from River Mile 522 to 498 on the Missouri River in Nebraska and Missouri. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 455 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bonding documents including the power of attorney shall bear an original signature by an officer of the surety. Representations and certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete.
