Two(2) Excavator (minimum 39K operating Weight): No Drivers Required. Equipment will be used for the construction of a trench complex at the training range in JBLM Washington. Excavator will be used primarily for (a) clearing and grubbing operations (removing, lifting and loading of stumps/brush), (b) digging operations (approximately to a 6' depth in cleared forest), (c) lifting operations (heaviest load is anticipated to be ecology blocks which weigh approximately 4320 lbs. These blocks will need to be lifted through the entire range of the excavator's operating limits.). Load lift chart for excavator shall be placed in vehicle cab. Bucket and thumb attachment as described below shall be compatible with Excavator. Two(2) Bucket Thumb Attachment: Thumb attachment must be compatible with excavators and bucket(s) as outlined in associated CLIN description(s) to perform work as described. Any fittings and/or couplers required to attach this item shall be included. Two(2)Excavator Buckets:48" bucket with teeth. Buckets shall be capable of performing work as described. Bucket should have approved lift points capable of lifting and moving loads as described. Any fittings and/or couplers required to attach this item shall be included. Two(2)Excavator Buckets: 24" - 36" bucket with a flat cutting edge. Buckets shall be capable of performing work as described. Bucket should have approved lift points capable of lifting and moving loads as described. Any fittings and/or couplers required to attach this item shall be included. Maintenance Support. The vendor is responsible for preventive maintenance requirements to include the supply of all necessary fluids and equipment in accordance with manufacture's recommendations. Government operators are capable of conducting daily maintenance checks to include verification of fluid levels. Vendor shall provide a trained technician to provide one initial onsite training class to operator's concerning equipment maintenance requirements. Vendor shall also be capable of providing on-site maintenance support for unplanned repairs as required. Repairs will be conducted by the vendor. All repairs, replacement, delivery, and pick-up costs not due to Government negligence shall be at no additional cost to the Government. Period of performance is 3 months with an extension clause 52.217-9
