This requirement is for a contractor to supply the following: twenty six (26) 6,500 LB Diesel Fork Lifts, eight (7) 4,000LB Diesel Fork Lifts, two (2) 4000LB Diesel Fork lift (extended Mast), and five (5) 6000LB Electric Forklifts to be provided to Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, Alabama. The equipment shall be designed and fabricated by the Contractor with all functionality, capabilities and features as described herein. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to design, manufacture, deliver, and demonstrate functional operation of the equipment. Any organization which believes itself to be in possession of these capabilities can provide written evidence to this effect to the Contract Specialist, and may be considered for future procurements. North American Industry Classification System Code is 333999 and the associated size standard is 500. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502, and 5.102(a); therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Proposals submitted must be in electronic format as stated in the solicitation. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://www.fbo.gov. Estimated issue date is 8 January 2019. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder’s mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal.
