The 21st Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado is seeking information for purchase of the specified item listed in Attachment 1 – Product List as well as pertinent information below: Brand Name or Equal: H.O. Bostrom Fire Fighter Zip Clean Washable Seats, Cushions, and Covers Description: Seats, Cushions, and Covers must be made specifically for Fire Fighting purposes to accommodate the gear and tanks built into the seats. They must also comply with relevant Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), ECE and EN 1848:2 performance standards. Product Specifications: Must meet or exceed the Clean Cab Concept Initiative. The seat covers must meet ASTM D-3597-89 24,000 cycle test with no appreciable wear, must be tear and puncture resistant and must be waterproof. Products must be made to fit each individual seat or have a direct bolt-in replacement. The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to gauge whether or not there is a comparable item that is equal to or greater than the product listed above, that is not specific to the brand: H.O Bostrom. The anticipated solicitation will be issued under North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code 336360 - Motor Vehicle Seating and Interior Trim Manufacturing.
