The Digital Modular Radio (DMR) is a 4 channel digital radio that provides both line of sight and beyond line of sight tactical C4I capabilities. Certified to pass secure voice and data at Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) over HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM channels. This system allows the U.S. Navy ships, submarines, and shore sites to remain in constant communication. The power supplies and amplifiers ensure the correct amount of power is going to the different parts of the system. The hard drive and computer assemblies maintain memory for the radio to function as it is not an analog radio. The remaining parts that will be procured are different circuit cards needed for functionality.
