The purpose of this notice is to provide information regarding this requirement. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Far East intents to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source award to Clean Harbors Environmental Services for the purchase of eight (8) granular-activated carbon (GAC) vessels for the uninterrupted support of various Red Hill recovery operations and operation of the Red Hill aquifer, and ensure compliance with environmental regulatory requirements related to source water filtration. This sole source award to Clean Harbors Environmental Services is in accordance with 10 U.S.C. § 3204(c)(2) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-2. This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted because of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101, methods of disseminating information. In addition, the formal Justification and Approval for this action shall be posted on this site within 30 days after contract award accordance with FAR 6.305(b)
