This is NOT a solicitation. Joint Interagency Task Force South is currently conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the capabilities to fulfill an urgent requirement for repair on two Delta Scientific Corporation DSC1200 vehicular hydraulic barricade systems. This notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or a Request for Quotation (RFQ). It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to determine the strategy for future procurement. Requirements: Interested parties must provide these services and meet the following specifications: • Replace underground hydraulic hoses with Delta Scientific specified OEM #8 hydraulic hose (requires approx. 150 ft distance), from HPU to the barricades, for two separately impacted JIATFS barricades and the associated fittings. • Replace two (2) ea hydraulic cylinders on one DSC1200 barricade (government provides replacement cylinders). • Replace three (3) ea loop detectors inside one of the B1300 Delta Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) (government provides loop detectors). • Fittings required to be stainless steel. • Refill/replace OEM specified hydraulic fluid (MOBIL™ EAL 224H environmentally friendly or equivalent) to OEM specified levels. • Test and certify the barricades and all associated components are functioning correctly upon completion of work. • Contractor must be qualified to perform services on Delta Scientific products. This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to these sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to these sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to these sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the website for additional information pertaining to these sources sought.
