The 47th Contracting Flight is seeking information from industry for the purpose of conducting market research. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract or any other type of contractual document. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP). NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. Overview/Purpose/ Description of Procurement: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to perform all work and provide all products as herein specified. Provide a new ROHN 70’ communications tower with a 75’ waveguide ice bridge to the existing Fire, including installation. The work is located at Laughlin’s Spofford (Wizard) Auxiliary Airfield near Spoffard, TX. The work is located within a restricted area which require escorts while contractors are present. There is currently not a tower present at this location to place antennas on. Scope of Effort: Tower Installation The following objectives need to be met to successfully fulfill the project requirements. Install a ROHN 70’ tower with grounding, lightning protection and light on the top. Install a waveguide ice bridge with grounding and lightning protection from the antenna tower to the Fire Station. Contractor personnel will possess any certifications required by federal, state and local regulations to perform the work. Copies of these certifications may be required at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Contractors should ensure that by them installing a ROHN Tower the warranty is not waived. Interested vendors please submit whether your company is a Small Business/socio economic registration. Interested vendors are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products. This is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender.
