This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be awarded a DoD contract. This exception to fair opportunity (brand-name justification), PR# F4FANG0178A001 will be competed via the NASA SEWP IDIQ contract. It incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2019-05 This requirement is for the following products: The Air Force requires the purchase of additional Dell R740 servers to support multiple networks. These servers will function as hosts in virtualized environments, providing processing, storage, and graphics capability. The servers allow for architecture consistency and align with the existing environment as 100% of the hosts already in place are Dell R740s. See the attached J&A and Bill of Materials for more information. OPTION(S) if applicable: N/A All items must be TAA compliant in accordance with the FAR. NASA SEWP pricing is required. DPAS rating is DO-A7. Anticipated Award Date is 7 August 2020 Lt Col Sean Tucker has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting officer.
