The 30th Contracting Squadron is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to gather industry information with respect to the installation of Gases Nitrogen (GN2) double isolation valves at facility 80405, Vandenberg AFB, CA. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Air Force will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested small businesses capable of performing the type of work as described herein in order to help determine which small business set-aside to use. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applies to this request of information: 237120 "Oil and Gas Pipeline and Related Structures Construction" and the size standard is $36.5 Million. The purpose of the project is to provide the government with a complete engineering design, construction, and warranty for the installation of Gases Nitrogen (GN2) double isolation valves at facility 80405, Vandenberg AFB, CA. See the attached Draft Statement of Work for more details. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed contract would be a firm-fixed-priced contract. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov). The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
