This Request for Information (RFI) will serve as Market Research to determine if Vendors are able provide an estimated 8,400 portable Garmin wearable fitness devices in accordance with the attached Specifications. This requirement is in support of the Space Force - HR Innovation, EVP, Engagement, Resilience & Wellbeing Strategy program. The wearable devices will be used to inform cardio-respiratory fitness and the level of intensity of purposeful physical activity requirement that military Guardians must demonstrate in order to comply with DoDI 1308.03. This requirement must be IAW with attached Specifications. The Government will use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes only. The Government is exploring the option to do a Blanket Purchase Agreement with an anticipated Period of Performance of 01 September 2022 to 30 August 2027 or even a direct purchase utilizing established contracting vehicles. Please identify existing contracting vehicles you are a part of that provides the subject devices. The Government requires a delivery period of 60 days after purchase order or BPA call. Vendors may advise on feasibility of 60 day delivery period. Anticipated Shipping Costs – Please outline approximate shipping costs for 8,400 units to a location within the continental United States or identify if shipping would be at no cost due to unit count. Warranty details Customer Care Support Please explain your return policy. In addition, please explain if devices are able to be swapped with another device after receipt. If so, what is the timeline? This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of market research. No RFQ or RFP exists. Therefore, the Government does not intend to award a contract based only on responses to this RFI nor will it be responsible for cost associated with any information received from this RFI. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. This requirement is anticipated to be a Small Business set-aside.
