This Sources Sought Notice is being issued for market research purposes ONLY and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the requestor to acquire any products or services. If an RFP/RFQ is issued, it will be issued by the appropriate Government Contracting office and posted to the appropriate Government Point of Entry (GPE). The requestor does not intend to pay for the Information requested herein. All information provided is for Government planning use only. INTRODUCTION This Sources Sought Notice is being released by the Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarter Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) on behalf of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agnecy (DPAA) WHS (AD) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to obtain information, and assist in determining the appropriate acquisition method for an Autosampler. In order to proactively plan for future requirements, WHS/AD is conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, capable 8(a) Tribally Owned Small Businesses. This acquisition is a new requirement. The estimated period of performance for this requirement is for delivery to occur within 90 days. Please reference the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for specific details as it pertains to the requirements of this request. INSTRUCTIONS Submission Requirements: Interested firms should submit responses to include a capabilities statement covering experience, staffing and technical capabilities. Businesses having the capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements may submit capability statements via email to the following email addresses below: william.p.relyea.civ@mail.mil susie.m.lee3.civ@mail.mil Responses must be submitted no later than August 11, 2023, 11:00AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Capability statements will not be returned. No phone calls related to this Sources Sought Notice will be accepted. All correspondence shall be via email. C. Capability Statement Requirements: Please answer the following question in your capability statement: 1. A brief two to-five-page capability statement of similar products that can be provided. 2. CAGE Code Number and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). 3. Company name and address. 4. Company Point of Contact, phone number and email. 5. NAICS codes associated with the company. 6. Company must identify if they are a small business under the NAICS code identified in this notice, and small business concerns must identify their small business category (Example: 8(a) Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUB-zone, Small Disadvantaged, Veteran-Owned, or Women-Owned. 7. Identify contracts your company has been awarded under NAICS – 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. Additional information on NAICS codes can be found at www.sba.gov. 8. Respondents are limited to five (5) pages. A minimum font size 12, left justified and one-inch margins all around. 9. Point of Contact, phone number, and emails of individuals who can verify the demonstrated capabilities identified in the responses. 10. Respondents must submit documents in Word or PDF format.
