The purpose of this SSS is to gather information on the current state and availability of vendors which are capable of providing a BA Replacement Parachute that can interface with current aircrew flight equipment in a wide range of crew positions onboard both ejection and non-ejection aircraft during long-duration flight operations in various climates and environments. The Government is requesting feedback on the requirements contained within the Draft P-Spec and to gain an understanding of the capabilities of existing technologies that may meet requirements in the Draft P-Spec. The feedback received will be used to assess whether the requirements in the Draft P-Spec are achievable with existing technologies in the commercial marketplace.
