Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) has a need for development of a full-motion, FAA certified Level C (minimum) weapon system trainer for the E-4B aircraft configuration with accompanying contractor logistics support (CLS). The simulator shall provide high fidelity full motion simulator capability. The E-4B simulator shall be representative of the E-4B pilot and flight engineer flight deck configuration, ability to simulate day and night aerial refueling missions, with the additional ability to simulate fuel on-load aircraft characteristics. Academic training needs shall include courseware development, initial training qualification (IQT), refresher, continuation, and upgrade training to support creditable pilot and flight engineer initial/continuation training to maintain proficiencies, and increase aircrew routine and emergency preparedness for in aircraft flight handling skills. The E-4B simulator and training facility needs to be located within 20 miles of Offutt AFB, NE (the platform's home base station) and will be a contractor-provided facility.
