WHS/AD proposes to issue an extension of services under task order number HQ0034-16-F-0063 using a firm fixed price structure, to the incumbent, Science Applications International Corp (SAIC), Program Resources and Information Systems Management (PRISM) Decision Support Services, without using full and open competition. The current task order expiries on May 31, 2021. The effort is to continue providing development and operational support to the Department of Defense (DoD), Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE), Program Resources and Information Systems Management Division (PRISM). The period of performance for this extension is from June 1, 2021 to August 15, 2021 with a total estimated dollar value of $252,795.32. The two-month extension is funded with OUSD(C) and CAPE funds for Fiscal Year 2021. The current task order was issued by WHS/AD on June 01, 2016 with a period of performance of June 01, 2016 to May 31, 2021. An extension of services, in accordance with FAR 52.217-8 "Option to Extend Services" is necessary to prevent a lapse in support to OSD CAPE. This requirement is currently being re-competed with an anticipated award August 2021. Therefore, this Limited Sources Justification (LSJ) seeking approval to extend services to Science Applications International Corp which would continue the same services provided under the current contract until the new anticipated contract is awarded by August 15, 2021.
