Provide and administer coatings training to members of the DoD military, Coast Guard personnel, and civilian workforce. The curriculum shall focus on applications of coatings technology related to corrosion prevention and control of corrosion, as well as corrosion-related issues of equipment and facilities. In general, topics covered in this effort shall address the following themes: protective coating application, surface preparation (e.g., steel and concrete), and methods of inspection and quality control. Additionally, the contractor in coordination with the Government is required to update the curriculum to address specific DOD training requirements. Depending on the specific training topic, corrosion courses may include in-person classroom lectures, online coursework, or a combination of both. The contractor shall provide qualified instructors, services, materials, equipment, supplies and facilities necessary to administer the training and as required, administer course examinations.
