The 176th Air Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK, intends to issue an Invitation For Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for ADAL C17 AGE Facility, at the 176th Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK. Work consists of the construction of an approximately 1,800 SF garage building addition to the existing AGE storage and maintenance facility. The magnitude of the project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. A bid bond in the amount of 20% of the offer is required. The total Construction duration is anticipated to be 10 months after notice to proceed for the base contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. This will be a total small business set- aside. The small business size standard is $36.5 million average annual revenue. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 7 August 2019. The tentative date for an organized site visit is 13 August 2019 at the Alaska Air National Guard, JBER, AK.
