This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items”, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-06 Effective May 26, 2022. The complete text of any of the clauses and provisions are available electronically from the following sites: FAR- https://www.acquisition.gov/browsefar DFARS - https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/ The synopsis/ solicitation number is W91ZLK-22-R-0024 for the procurement of QTY One (1) - Horizontal and Vertical Mill. Please refer to the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333517 – Machine Tool Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Code for this acquisition is 3417 Milling Machines. This requirement is a Total set-aside among Small Business Concerns represented by NAICS Code 333517. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 “Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process” that meets the statement of work and required specifications. The technical evaluation will be based on the technical specifications/requirements listed in the attached SOW. Description of Requirements: Please refer to the attached Statement of Work (Attachment 1). Instructions to Offerors: Please provide a price quote for the procurement of One (1) Vertical and Horizontal Mill based on the technical requirements and specifications listed in the SOW. By submitting a quote the Contractor agrees to the notations identified in the SOW. All quotations from responsible and qualified sources will be fully considered. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov, database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM online at the website link provided. Submission Procedures: The offeror shall include Company Name, Point of Contact, and Company Cage Code. Responses to this solicitation must be signed, dated, and received no later than 1:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Monday, 15 August 2022. Responses must be sent by email to the Contract Specialist at birgit.m.jones.civ@army.mil. Please copy the Contracting Officer at rex.m.valdez2.civ@army.mil. Questions shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to birgit.m.jones.civ@army.mil. The suspense for question submission shall be no later than 4:00 P.M. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. The Government reserves the right to cancel the referenced solicitation if deemed to be in its best interest.
