Sources Sought Announcement The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is seeking potential sources under the proposed NAICS Code 811219 (Laboratory instrument repair and maintenance services) who have the capability to provide the following requirements: Preventive Maintenance and remedial repair services for one Government-owned EASYCHEM Plus automatic laboratory analyzer. Chinchilla Scientific is the Original Equipment manufacturer (OEM) and has proprietary rights to its software and hardware. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform service maintenance and repair in accordance with the manufacturer specifications. Contractor must be able to acquire authorization and certification from the OEM to perform the required service and repair including OEM parts, and software for updates from the manufacturer. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 811219. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a RFQ may be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Response to this notice is strictly voluntary and will not affect any corporation's ability to submit an offer if and when a solicitation is released. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement.
