Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items”, as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is unrestricted; all qualified Contractors are encouraged to submit a quote. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number is W91ZLK-20-Q-0047. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07, effective 3 August, 2020. Description of Requirements: The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is seeking Contractors to provide the below listed GRAS Sound & Vibration brand microphones and microphone calibrator equipment in accordance with the specifications included in this Request for Quote (RFQ). Please see the attached statement of work/specifications for additional requirements. • Quantity of Twelve (12) – GRAS 47BX-S7 Flush Mount Microphone Sets consisting of a 1/4" precision pressure measuring microphone with built-in CCP preamplifier (2020) • Quantity of One (1) – GRAS 42AC High Level Pistonphone - freq 250 Hz level 134 dB The requirement is BRAND NAME specific for G.R.A.S. Sound & Vibration A/S above listed equipment and includes the purchase and delivery of the equipment. The Contractor shall specify delivery estimates after receipt of order, unit prices, extended prices, and manufacturer warranties for each of the equipment with quote submissions. The Contractor shall also provide one (1) year phone assistance for the equipment. Instructions and Information to Offerors: The requirement is being solicited “Full and Open competition” for NAICS Code 334519 (Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) proposal in accordance with FAR 15.101-2 “Lowest price technically acceptable source selection process” that meets the requirement specifications. The technical evaluation will be based on the specifications/salient characteristics listed in the attached purchase description. Determination of Responsibility: All quotations from responsible sources will be fully considered. Vendors who are not registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM online at the website link provided.
