The Health Readiness Contracting Office - East, intends to issue an award solely to Rees Scientific USA, 1007 Whitehead Road Ext., Trenton, NJ 08638. The procurement is for calibration of Rees Scientific temperature and humidity probes in government owned Rees Scientific Temperature Monitoring System (TSMP). Rees Scientific is the sole manufacturer of the probes and is the only authorized provider of the required calibration. The NAICS code of this procurement is 811210 and the size standard is $34 million. The TSMP system in place is only serviced by Rees Scientific Technicians. There are no resellers. Th Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-l{b)(l)(i), Only One Source Reasonably Available. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached Sole Source Determination. Responses are due no later than 18 July 2025 at 01:00 PM EST. The government intends to award a contract on or around 1 August 2025.
