The Medical Readiness Contracting Office (MRCO) – East, intends to issue an award solely to Rees Scientific Corporation, 1007 Whitehead Road EXT, Ewing, NJ 08638. The procurement is for Preventive Maintenance, repair, validation/calibration, hardware, and system software support/upgrades on Government owned Rees Scientific Temperature Sensitive Monitoring Product (TSMP) Systems. The NAICS code of this procurement is 811210 and the size standard is $34 million. This procurement is to support the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY. The TSMP system is produced and supplied solely by Rees Scientific Corporation. There are no resellers. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial items. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
