The Medical Readiness Contracting Office (MRCO) – East, intends to issue an award solely to Rees Scientific, 1007 Whitehead Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08638. The procurement is for a temperature monitoring system. The NAICS code of this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 750 employees. This procurement is to support the Guthrie Ambulatory Health Clinic, Fort Drum, NY. Rees Scientific is the only manufacturer that meets all Department of Defense and Defense Health Agency Information Security Requirements. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Source Reasonably Available. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached Sole Source Determination. Responses are due no later than 7 February 2023 at 03:00 PM EST.
