The Medical Readiness Contracting Office (MRCO) – East, intends to issue an award solely to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Rd, Indianapolis, IN., 46256-1025. The procurement is for FDA approved supplies, tests and reagents for the Ventana Benchmark II Cell Stainer and Analyzer. The NAICS code of this procurement is 325413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. This procurement is to support the Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH), Fort Campbell, KY. The Ventana UltraMark II Cell and Tissue Stainer is equipment produced and supplied solely by Roche Diagnostic Corporation. There are no resellers. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Only One Source Reasonably Available. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached Sole Source Determination. Responses are due no later than 27 January 2023 at 03:00 PM EST.
