The Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic (RHCO-A), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a firm fixed price sole sourced contract for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Ft Bragg, North Carolina to Ortho-Clinicial Diagnostics. The requirement is for supplies and reagents for the Ortho Manual Workstations. The supplies requested will be used on the equipment currently in place at the Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC. The proposed contract period of performance will be from 01 October 2022 through 30 September 2023 with four 12-month option periods. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ22Q0059. The Ortho equipment owned by WAMC and reagents are manufactured by Ortho-Diagnostics Clinical and only Ortho Clinical can manufacture and distribute the required reagents for the Blood Bank Reagent supplies. Please refer to attachment labeled “A.03 Statement of Work Blood Bank reagents, Manual Testing Ortho Workstation FY 2023” for the list of items and delivery schedule the Government requires. This is not a request for quote, and no telephonic request will be honored. The solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov website. The requirement will be using NAICS Code 334516. All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed via the internet at www.sam.gov/. The Regional Health Contracting Office-Atlantic, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and capability of qualified businesses to fulfill the requirement. This is a supply contract for Reagent Supplies to be used on Ortho Clinical Workstations for Manual Testing. These reagents support manual Blood Bank testing, using tube and gel methodologies, for ABO/Rh, ABO/Rh discrepancy, antibody screen, antibody ID, DAT (to include both IgG and complement testing) and Fetal Bleed screen testing. The gel testing reagents must be compatible with the five Ortho Workstations that are currently owned by the facility. This testing is for the Department of Pathology, WAMC, Building 4-2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. This sources sought is considered all or none. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
