The Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic (RHCO-A), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a firm fixed price sole sourced contract for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Ft Bragg, North Carolina to Cepheid. The requirement is for supplies and reagents for the Cepheid GeneXperts (Cat. # GXXVI-16-L and GXIV-4-L). The supplies requested will be used on the equipment currently in place at the Department of Pathology, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC. The proposed contract period of performance will be from 01 October 2021 through 30 September 2022 with four 12-month option periods. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ21Q0105. The GenXperts equipment in place at WAMC is manufactured by Cepheid and only Cepheid can manufacture and distribute the required reagents for the GenXperts equipment. Please refer to attachment labeled “Exhibits- revised” for the list of items and quantities the Government intends to purchase. This is not a request for quote, and no telephonic request will be honored. The solicitation will be posted on Beta.SAM.gov website. The requirement will be using NAICS Code 325413. All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed via the internet at www.sam.gov/. SOURCES SOUGHT The Regional Health Contracting Office-Atlantic, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and capability of qualified businesses to fulfill the requirement. This is a supply contract for Reagent Supplies to be used on Cepheid GeneXpert platform (Cat. # GXXVI-16-L and GXIV-4-L) that WAMC owns. The reagents will allow the Pathology Department to use the FDA-approved in vitro diagnostic testing of Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Group A and Group B Strep, among other pathogens. This testing is for the Department of Pathology, WAMC, Building 4-2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. This sources sought is considered all or none. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 325413.
