The Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic (RHCO-A), intends to solicit, negotiate and award a firm fixed price sole sourced contract for Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Ft Bragg, North Carolina to GE Healthcare. The requirement is relocate and install DSC XR656 equipment (X-ray equipment) from the Joel Medical Facility to WAMC’s main hospital. The period of performance is for 19 April 2021 thru 19 May 2021. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ21Q0082. GE Healthcare currently maintains and services the equipment. If another vendor were to move the equipment it would void the warranty from GE Healthcare. Womack Army medical center has no certified GE Technician assigned nor manpower or moving equipment to facilitate the movement of the X-Ray system. Any other vendor other than GE will void warrantee and shorten the life span of the equipment. GE Healthcare does not have any third party certified vendors to perform this highly specialized service. This is not a request for quote, and no telephonic request will be honored; the solicitation will be posted on Beta SAM within the next 10 to 20 days. The requirement will be using NAICS Code 339112. All offerors are cautioned that if selected for award, they must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). SAM can be accessed via the internet at www.sam.gov/. Confirmation of SAM registration will be validated prior to awarding a contract. POC is – Michael J.
