Military Working Dog Aragon sustained a blown disk in the L1-L2 area of his lumbar spine, with neurological deficits. MWD Aragon received a CT scan at a local military treatment facility and was assessed by multiple Army veterinary specialists. It was determined that MPC Aragon needed an assessment by a board certified veterinary neurologist. VRCC has a board certified veterinary neurologist on staff with the necessary expertise to treat MWD Aragon’s condition and has worked with military dogs before. Because of accompanying neurologic issues, it is imperative that Aragon be properly assessed for treatment of his condition. Period of Performance is 9 November 2020 – 31 October 2021
