The Regional Health Contracting Office - Atlantic (RHCO-A), Gordon Health Contracting Branch (GHCB), Fort Gordon, Georgia 30905, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a Sole Source award for maintenance and support for a Candela V-Beam Perfecta laser system to Candela Corporation, 251 Locke Drive, Marlborough, MA, 01752-7220. The resulting award will be made on SF 1449, for commercial services. The NAICS for this requirement is 339112. This is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. The point of contact for this requirement is Ms. Linda M. REQUIREMENT: Base year (1 Oct 2020 through 30 Sep 2021) and 1 each Option Year (1 Oct 2021 through 30 Sep 2022) for Annual Support and Maintenance for Candela Vbeam Perfecta. The contractor shall provide written evidence that service personnel to be utilized on this contract shall have either been trained by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) on the specific equipment they service and experience within the past three years or have been certified as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instruments (AAMI) and have a minimum experience within the past three years or have an Associate Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics with a minimum of 3 years' experience servicing the specific equipment. Loaner instruments and/or components when available from the manufacturer, for up to ten (10) days in the event that a repair cannot be completed within the expected repair timeframe. All replacement parts/components must be OEM parts/components only. Dispatch Service Center fully staffed between 7:30 am - 8:pm EST with oncall services after/outside of normal business hours. Services shall be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday EST. Performance Based Work Statement available upon request.
