The Regional Health Contracting Office – Atlantic, Fort Bragg, NC intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a 100% small business set aside Contract for the Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC to provide pickup, process, and return of clean dry linen to WAMC. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number W91YTZ20R0043 is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). Initial pickup of linen begins on April 1, 2020. This is a 100% small business set aside procurement. Sources Sought request to determine the interest and feasibility of potential vendors capable of providing hospital linen cleaning service to Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Building 4-2817 Reilly Road, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. This is for information purposes and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the US Government, nor will the US Government pay for information solicited. NOTE: This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation exists at this time. WAMC is conducting a market research survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified businesses to provide the required linen cleaning services. Interested businesses responding to this market survey must provide a written response that the business can meet the requirements noted below, and also meet the requirements noted in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). REQUIREMENT: Cleaning of hospital linen. Period of performance is 1 April 2020 through 31 March 2025. Contractor will invoice the Government and be paid by the Government per monthly delivery order. Contractor will be paid per pound of returned clean linen. Contractor must be able to clean and process a minimum of 75,000 pounds up to a maximum of 130,000 pounds of hospital linen on a monthly basis. Yearly minimum is 900,000 pounds of linen. Yearly maximum is 1,560,000 pounds of linen. Interested businesses shall also meet the requirements noted in the attached PWS.
