Requirement is in support of COVID-19 pandemic that will Provide Training to 50 intensive care unit (ICU) nurses over the next two (2) years. This is a sole-sourced requirement with the American Association of Critical Care Nurse Organization. This training will allow ICU nurses specialty training mandated for COVID-19 patients. This organization is the only certified licensing agency dedicated to support requirement for the site training and 50 ECCO Intensive Care Unit End User Licenses. The Critical Care Nursing Training Fees will enable the intensive care nurses at WAMC to receive required training to care for the highly critical patients admitted to WAMC during the COVID19 period. Any further delay of critical procedural training will cause the cases to be ultimately shut down the operating rooms until proper services are restored. This purchase is made to support COVID-19 at Womack Army Medical Center, and other facilities as mandated. Without this purchase, WAMC will not meet their mandated requirements to support the nation with COVID-19 highly trained personnel to meet the mission for Fort Bragg Soldier’s and their families. The requirement will be sole-sourced to AACN-E-LEARNING; 27071 Aliso Creek Road; Aliso Viejo, CA as they are the certified licensing agency.
