This Purchase Order is a service requirement that facilitates the surgical process and risk by providing critical information and alerts to surgeons of potential harm or compromise to spinal cord or neural structures.

The Regional Health Contracting Activity-Atlantic, Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg (WAMC), NC intends to award a sole-sourced contract due to the Doctors specific training and working with the equipment and services of the technicians. The equipment will work in conjunction with specific Nuvasive Equipment that has been previously in used at Womack Army Medical Center for pre-scheduled spinal surgeries and designed to meet specific patient needs. This Purchase Order is a service requirement for intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) and assist detecting signs of sensory changes to help the physicians assess potential damage or injury to the spinal cord due to ischemia, derotation, and other mechanical manipulation. Additionally, in the event of post-operation emergencies, the Technician must be located within 30 minutes of WAMC to assist the Doctors to save patient lives if called back in. The Contractor shall provide the services of a certified technician that has worked with to provide quality neuro-operative monitoring services to the Operating Room/Surgery Department, located at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
