The contractor shall provide and perform scheduled maintenance and repair service for the Cepheid GeneXpert Analyzers (2) Fox Army Health Center Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The contractor shall maintain the two GeneXpert Analyzers and all related equipment in optimal operating condition throughout term of the service agreement. The service shall include all adjustments, calibration, repairs, parts replacement and all other methods deemed necessary to maintain the equipment. Contractor must supply a copy of the work performed to the Chief, Laboratory. Service for this instrument is vendor specific, and cannot be performed by governmental functions or another vendor. The contractor shall ensure that technicians performing work on the GeneXpert4 (2) are certified to perform service on this specific equipment. The period of performance is Date of award through April 27, 2023 including four one-year option periods ending April 27, 2027. The procurement of this acquisition is Unrestricted. Important information: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. Questions are due no later than 06 May 2022 at 12:00 pm EST. After review of the response(s) to this announcement, the Government intends to proceed with the acquisition and a subsequent solicitation will be published.
