This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price and technical proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a non-personal services contract to provide Roman Catholic Priest Services. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The Contractor is not a member of the Chaplain Support Office staff. MICC -FB intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Catholic Priest services to be performed at Fort Detrick, MD. The period of performance shall be for one (1) twelve-month (12) Base Year and four (4) twelve-month (12) option years in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. IAW FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, a six-month extension period may be exercised if it is deemed necessary.
