ACC-APG Huachuca Division is soliciting to purchase for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Fort Gordon, a maintenance contract for a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) infrastructure System. Due to proprietary hardware and software components, Motorola and Motorola Authorized Service Providers (a designation separate from dealer, reseller, or manufacturer’s representative) are the only companies authorized by Motorola to perform warranty repairs and maintenance services on Motorola manufactured systems. Motorola is also the only vendor who can make factory certified modifications or enhancements to the hardware or software for the Fort Gordon LMR communications system. These measures are enacted in effort to protect the viability and sustainability of mission critical radio systems. Motorola provides specialized training for technicians to service, repair, troubleshoot and maintain Land Mobile Radio equipment and systems. Contracting is soliciting this urgent requirement as a 100% small business set-aside to Motorola and Motorola authorized resellers. All participants MUST be authorized resellers at the time they submit their proposal.
