This is a Request for Information (RFI) pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e). The Government does not intend to award a contract at this time. Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this RFI, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. Title: Army Alaska Regional Telephone Maintenance Support – (AARTMS), BASE COMMS TDM FWA_FGA Objective: To obtain a service contract to provide remote technical assistance support for the US Army Nortel/Avaya Telephone Switching systems and associated equipment installed at Ft Wainwright and Ft Greely, Alaska including assisting with the repair/return of components if necessary. Location of Work to be performed: Fort Wainwright, AK & Fort Greely, AK To aid industry in evaluating their ability to perform the requirement, the following documents have been attached and available at the link below: 1) Salient Characteristics 2) Performance Work Statement (PWS) NOTE: 1) Technical description of the proposed concept or capability, and including a concise description of the specifications. All quotes must be dated with a Cage Code, DUNS number and final price clearly visible. 2) The RFI will be evaluated solely for market research purposes. Consequently, the Government is primarily interested in determining if Small Business can provide this requirement in full. See #3. 3) Small Business Concerns, Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) Concerns, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Concerns and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Concerns are all highly encouraged to respond to this RFI. 4) This information will only be used in helping to determine if this requirement is solicited as Small Business or Unrestricted. 5) Submit the responses electronically to Craig Metzger at craig.a.metzger4.civ@mail.mil no later than May 11, 2021 by 10am MST.
