The Purpose of this notice is to inform offers that a solicitation for the Maintenance and Repair of Allison Transmissions is pending. The solicitation is scheduled to be released on or about 01 August 2020. This is ONLY a Pre-solicitation notice. Do not send any offers in response to this notice. Questions about the presolictation is welcomed. This is a non-personal services contract to provide Maintenance and Repair of Allison Transmissions fitted to various types of US military tactical vehicles for USFK force units. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. The Contractor shall provide all necessary skilled personnel, master mechanic tools sets (general hand tools), personnel safety equipment (safety glasses, shoes, coveralls, and gloves), and other items and services necessary to perform Maintenance and Repair of Allison Transmission fitted to the Tactical Vehicles for USFK as defined in this Performance Work Statement.
