It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, nor is it the intent of the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) – Fort Belvoir to award a contract on the basis of this Request for Information (RFI) or otherwise pay for the information sought. The Government is seeking responses to this Sources Sought Notice from small interested businesses capable of providing the requirement. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) business development programs, historically underutilized business zone, service disabled veteran-owned, woman-owned small business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify capabilities in meeting the requirements. MICC – Fort Belvoir is seeking preliminary market research information from capable and reliable sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of providing ten (10) rental Infrared Radiant Diesel Heaters between 150,000 to 175,000 BTU's. The heaters need to be indirect fired so there are no flames coming out the end that will be directed toward individuals. These will be located outdoors in different areas of the Joint Base Myer Henderson Hall area of responsibility. That includes, Fort Myer, Fort McNair, Henderson Hall and Arlington National Cemetery. The Government will be responsible for providing all the diesel fuel. The Contractor will be required to provide a class on the proper process/procedures for startup and shutdown of the heaters. If a heater stops working or requires maintenance the vendor will replace it within 24 hours of being notified. This is an on-going requirement currently being fulfilled under contract W91QV1-19-P-0155. The estimated period of performance: Twelve month base period and four (4) twelve month options and six month extension if required in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. The intended North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code classified for this effort is 333414, Heating Equipment (except Warm Air Furnaces) Manufacturing . The aforementioned NAICS Code is associated with a size standard of 500 Employees. After this deadline, questions will not be considered regarding this announcement.
