The work includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials to perform miscellaneous painting repairs and incidental related work in accordance with the specifications. Painting repair work includes as described in Section 09 90 00 Paints and Coatings of this SCOPE OF WORK. Existing improvement restoration or complete reconstruction of existing historic or recent improvements is not included in this Contract for paint repairs. Paint repair work performed by the contractor shall result in a complete, functional, and suitable system. If your company has a premium for work performed above the 20 foot height stated in the PWS it will be reviewed the same as ODCs. There is no need to submit any premiums or percentages for work of this nature. The basis of award remains Lowest Price Technically Acceptable and is based upon pricing submitted for jobs not exceeding the 20 feet of height in the PWS. As such, the Government shall only make a determination of the lowest price technically acceptable on the 20 foot height standard.
