This is a non-personnel services contract to provide support for the United States Army Field Band’s Baltimore, MD Holiday performance. The US Army Band will present its contract in Baltimore, MD which is open to the public in Baltimore and surrounding areas and will require a venue with a seating capacity much higher than those previously used by the organization in this area. There are several requirements for the venue to have; (1) be located within a 5-mile radius of downtown Baltimore, MD; (2) have been designed and constructed for the purpose of staging formal symphony type concerts and possess symphony quality acoustics; (3) Seat no fewer than 2,480 people; (4) provide a stage with dimensions greater than or equal to 58’ x 37’ and have the ability to accommodate 65 seated instrumentalists and 30 standing vocalists; (5) provide a jib platform (minimum 10’ x 10’); (6) provide a house sound system and lighting system; (7) provide a grand piano; (8) provide video support to include projection and screen; (9) provide theatrical lighting to include all fixtures and controls; (10) provide a broadcast crew to include a director, assistant director, jib operator, shader, camera assistant, director of photography, and video engineer. (11) provide staging to include decking, tiered risers, and stairs; (12) the concert hall’s loading dock must have the ability to accommodate semi-tractor trailer trucks; (13) must have ushers to accommodate the audience; and (14) must have concert security.
