**This solicitation has been terminated in it's entirety** Solicitation ammendment to answer one RFI received: Question - since the cemetery is currently closed to the public for the foreseeable futur... **This solicitation has been terminated in it's entirety** Solicitation ammendment to answer one RFI received: Question - since the cemetery is currently closed to the public for the foreseeable future, would it be possible to perform the work on the railings in place? Answer - No. All work must be performed off-site in accordance with the SOW. Solicitation responses MUST be submitted by 24 AUGUST 2020 at 1600. All solicitation ammendments must be acknowledged, along with original solicitation. The Contractor shall provide all the personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and provide the associated Engineering Services and other items and non-personal services, which are necessary to remove, repair, refinish, and reinstall four (4) bronze railings at the Memorial Amphitheater. The bronze railings are embedded in marble stairs and granite pavers. There are two (2) bronze railings with four (4) bronze posts approximately 3’ tall embedded in marble stairs, with a handrail length of approximately 12 LF. There are two (2) bronze railings with fourteen (14) bronze posts approximately 3’ tall embedded in marble stairs and granite pavers, with a handrail length of approximately 84 LF total. These longer railing sections go down the stairs for approximately 12 LF, make a 90-degree bend, and extend approximately 72 LF at grade along the granite pavers. Historical documents suggest that the bronze posts may be leaded in place, but the exact anchoring system has not been investigated. Metal escutcheon plates at the base of the posts cover the embedded anchors. Historical drawings and records can be provided by ANC. All work will be done as defined in Part 5 of this Statement of Work (SOW).
