Pre-Solicitation Notice W91QV1-23-R-0054 (2nd Notice) Fort Detrick Consolidated Chemical Supply Fort Detrick, Maryland This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Belvoir (MICC – Fort Belvoir), Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation to provide for the ordering an supply of chemicals to the Boiler Plant, Incinerator Plant, Power Plants, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Plant, Pools & Steam Sterilization Plant in an expedient, stabilized, steadfast fashion ensuring chemicals are always in supply and available to carry out the daily missions as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), U.S. Army Garrison - Fort Detrick, MD. The government intends to award a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-w/EPA) contract for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance (PoP) for this acquisition is 27 September 2023 through 26 March 2029. The PoP will consist of a twelve-month (12) base period, four (4) one-year (1) option periods, and a six-month (6) extension period in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This acquisition is full and open competition. The assigned National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325998. MICC - Fort Belvoir anticipates issuing the Solicitation on or about 19 July 2023 for thirty (30) days. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the Solicitation.
