The contractor shall provide for the efficient ordering and supply of chemicals to the Cooling Towers, Boilers, Water Treatment Plant, and Indoor & Outdoor Pools in an expedient, stabilized, steadfast fashion ensuring chemicals are always in supply and available to carry out the daily missions of the Plants. The contractor shall provide chemical testing and balancing services to the Micro-boilers and Cooling towers specified in this SOW. Any test results/reports shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on a monthly basis. The details of these tasks will be covered in section 5 of the Statement of Work (SOW).

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Fort Belvoir (MICC – Fort Belvoir), Virginia, intends to issue a solicitation to provide for the ordering an supply of chemicals to the Boiler Plant, Incinerator Plant, Power Plants, Cooling Towers, Water Treatment Plant, Pools & Steam Sterilization Plant in an expedient, stabilized, steadfast fashion ensuring chemicals are always in supply and available to carry out the daily missions as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW) for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), U.S. Army Garrison - Fort Detrick, MD. The government intends to award a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-w/EPA) contract for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance (PoP) for this acquisition is 27 June 2023 through 26 December 2028. The PoP will consist of a twelve-month (12) base period, four (4) one-year (1) option periods, and a six-month (6) extension period in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. This acquisition is full and open competition. The assigned National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325998. MICC - Fort Belvoir anticipates issuing the Solicitation on or about 18 May 2023. The closing date for submission of proposals will be contained in the Solicitation.
