This sources sought announcement is for information, planning and market research purposes only. It does not constitute a commitment on the Government's part; therefore a contract may not be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Fort Belvoir (MICC) is conducting market research to analyze the cost difference between renting vs purchasing an industrial water reel unit. The following is a list of needs from the water reel: - Will be used to cover approximately 11 acres throughout a cemetery (if rental unit is being provided, it will be used for 6 months). - Will be connected to fire hydrants throughout the cemetery. - Each designated spot of approximately 3,000 square feet, one third (1/3) to one half inch of water is uniformly received or applied to designated areas. - Must be a mobile unit. Cannot remain in one area of the cemetery and must be able to be stored inside storage area within the cemetery. - Please provide a technical specification sheet AND a pricing sheet in your response and state whether the unit will be rented or is for purchase. The Government is seeking responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis from all interested businesses capable of providing similar supplies. Small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business, etc.) are highly encouraged to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirements at fair market prices. Packages shall be submitted by 12:00PM EST, Thursday, 28 February 2019. Only small businesses are to submit capability packages. Interested small business concerns in NAICS code 333112 "Lawn and Garden Tractor and Home and Lawn Garden Equipment manufacturing" with a size standard of 1,500 employees are encouraged to submit their capability packages. The capability packages for this sources sought are not a proposals, but rather statements regarding the company's existing experience in relation to the areas specified above. Capability packages shall not exceed five (5) pages and shall be submitted via e-mail to Heather Nikiforakis, at heather.m.nikiforakis.civ@mail.mil with a courtesy copy (cc) to Sharon Lightfoot, at sharon.c.lightfoot.civ@mail.mil at no cost to or obligation to the Government. Areas or tasks where a contractor does not have prior experience should be annotated as such. To assist us in maintaining a list of small business interest concerns for this procurement, please provide your company's name, point of contact (POC), address, phone number, and business size under the above NAICS code Heather Nikiforakis, at heather.m.nikiforakis.civ@mail.mil with a courtesy copy (cc) to Sharon Lightfoot, at sharon.c.lightfoot.civ@mail.mil, for this procurement. Any amendments will be posted and must be retrieved from this website. Responses to the Sources Sought must be submitted by email to the POC identified above. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. No phone calls will be accepted. Contractors are responsible for all costs for submitting their capability packages.
