This acquisitions is to purchase and install one (1) New Indoor Caterpillar XLM3 Paralleling Switchgear with Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) that is designed to monitor and control three (3) Caterpillar C15 500kw Generator sets equipped with EMCP 3.3 controls panels, 2000A Main Bus, 480Vac System Voltage, 3 phase, 60hrz located on the ALTESS data centers Westside power plant. This new equipment will replace an outdated and faulty GE AKD-10 Switchgear with custom GE Energy Commander Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The GE AKD-10 Switchgear and Energy Commander ATS is end of life, the Program Logic Controller (PLCs), power supplies and various other components are no longer supported and new/used parts are no longer available. REQUIRED CAPABILITIES Qualification. See attached draft Performance Work Statement Maintenance, Inspection and Repair. The Government desires a system with minimal maintenance and inspection requirements at the organizational level. The system should also be easily repairable for deployed units.
