This contract action is for integrator support services of an existing proprietary Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) supplied by JCI called the Metasys® Building Automation System. This contract action is for integrator support services of an existing proprietary Utility Monitoring and Control System (UMCS) supplied by JCI called the Metasys® Building Automation System. Services under this proposed contract will include but are not limited to: management of Local Operating Network (LON) databases, development of system graphics; system graphic testing and check-out; interfacing with new data transmission equipment; determining compatibility of new equipment with existing systems; preparing system and component documentation; providing training; maintaining and servicing systems; operating and monitoring systems. Performance of these services will occur at Fort Lee, Virginia. The estimated dollar value of the acquisition is $2.3 million. Based upon the Government representative’s 36 years of experience performing, supervising and estimating this type of work in this industry, the Government has determined the anticipated costs are considered fair and reasonable.
