The project involves the full demolition and replacement of the existing MRL elevator, associated equipment, and support structure in Building 246. Record drawings from the most recent renovation and elevator repairs will be provided. The new elevator must be a 100% non-proprietary system, allowing any qualified technician to perform future maintenance. It will be a hydraulic, holeless, roped, single jack, cantilever passenger elevator with a 4,500 lb capacity, featuring 3 front openings, 24’3” of travel, and a speed of 100 FPM. The work must comply with ANSI A17.1-2016 requirements.
